You are Welcome !!!

Hi SSW,

I just got back from my trip. I had gone out to Pepboys to purchase the Torx bit. I got a set of four. Thank you again for the information .

Kev
Sounds good to me. Have a great Thanksgiving.

Morning SSW,

Thank you for your offer, but i will be out of town this week. I'll be in contact with you , when i get back i from the Trip . Thank you again.

Kevin
Hi Kevin,

I bought a whole set because I don't like buying individual tools. I'm sure you can find a single tool at Sears or something like that. I purchased Lisle 12 point Triple Square Metric Internal Wrench Bit Set (Part No. 60750). from the Pep Boys in Sunnyvale off of El Camino Real and Fair Oaks. I think I paid $12.00 for the set. I used the 6mm bit. This set is nice because you use it in conjuction with a 1/2 " drive. I've seen others tools that is like a screw driver, and they don't have enough torque. I will bring the set with me to work in Mt. View. Like I said, if you want to borrow it, let me know.

Thank you for your help SSW. By the way , i want to share this with you . I just buy a 95 540i Sport with the 6spd. May be , we can get together sometime talk about car.

kevin

I knew you were going to ask that question. I have to take a look, and I will get back to you.

Yes, I do live in the SF Bay area.Thank you very much for the infornation. By the way , do you know what size is the 12 point torx you use to open the Star cover. Thanks again.
Kevin

If you are located in the SF Bay Area, I can lend you my tool. I purchased a 12 point torx set from Pep Boys.

Could someone direct me where to purchase a Tool to remove the cover from the Throwing Star Wheels. If you even have the factory # , that will be great Thanks alot.
