This is one of my cars in the pic. The rims are painted and polished after being stripped and glass beaded. This is not a $250 job as it costs at least $600 per set of 4 rims, assuming the rims are straight and true. The entire process takes a week to complete and the shop is always backlogged with work.

The polished lips look like chrome but are polished aluminum and are not clear coated and only require a frequent waxing to maintain the lustre.

The shop that has done several sets of these rims for me is Wheel Tech. in Campbell, CA (Bay Area). Link provided below to their website. The owner of the shop is also a former E34 M5 owner.
