Headlamp washers (archive)

Anyone ever replaced the headlamp washer units on a '91 M5? - I am missing the nozzles, which seem to have popped out with the pressure, but have had to buy the whole double unit that sits on the front bumper/fender.

Just wondered if I can get away without stripping half the car...

ps. is this a common fault with the headlamp washers?
