I removed from my 1991 M5 about 6 months ago to remove a dent in the fender, and if I remember correctly, the panel actually attaches with holes that were already there on the upper side, and then the #4 part no's hold onto the bottom side. The forward most part of the side skirt attaches to the front fender, so you might have to remove lost of the bolts in order to get in there. Part no's 2 and 4 (besides the obvious bolts) are the only parts that I remember having to remove from the car, but I could be wrong. Sorry I don't really know for sure, but I might have helped.....a little.I just bought M5 sideskirts (actually, '95 540i sport M-tec, same thing...) to install on my '90 535i. The ETK shows the below image...

Now... I'm kinda unclear here. Does that mean #11 there is a template for drilling into my stock sideskirt, and I just bolt/snap the M5 skirt into my existing sideskirt? If anyone's taken these off and seen how they bolt up below, I'd be REALLY interested. Thanks a lot, guys.
