New belts. You probaly don't need them but they are cheap and you will have access to them.
You have a double link chain no need to change it unless you are having problems .
Front crank seal- ok to change if your looking for something to do but if it is not leaking leave it alone.
Change the fan clutch, change the thermostat. Use BMW or Mercedes coolant when you refill.
Drive and enjoy you've earned it.

I am about to change the water pump and hoses on my 1991 M5. (for Christmas!) It currently has about 105k miles.

Suggestions for anything else I should take care of while I have the front end of the engine apart?

Timing chain tensioner?
Timing chain (break the bank!)
Front crank seal?
Belts are new at 70k
