CONGRATULATIONS!
1. Don't know about the tranny program.
2. You can get the owner's manual at the dealer. I have used http://www.tmcpubl.com/ with good results.
3. There is no M5-specific service manual. The Bentley E34 manual is the closest easily available thing. http://www.rb.com or at any online bookseller. In addition, http://www.koalamotorsport.com has an E30 M3 CD-ROM that has the engine details for the very similar S14 engine. Part CDs are available at the dealer for $40 or so. Euro parts are the same for the most part as the US parts. They can be got at any of the numerous parts sources including the dealer.
4. Can't help with the audio. Never cared for it. That thing under the seat might be the alarm, but I don't really know.
5. For differences, check http://www.bmwe34m5.com and look the FAQs. Look under technical information for the BMW Technical Document the lists the engine differences between the S38B38 and B36 motors.

I just bought a 92 European M5 with Avus Blue color. I have a lot of questions to ask.
This morning when I inserted and turned the key, the LED panel showing "Trans Program" then "Owner's Manual". What does it mean ?
The owner's manual is in German, where can I get a
English manual so I can get up to speed faster.
Right now I don't know how to program/reset the trip computer at all.
Where can I buy service manual and parts CD ?
Who's best source for getting european specific parts ? There is no CD player, would a BMW US CD jukebox works ? I would think so. Is there a better alternative to this. I notice the stock speak wasn't that great. There is a thing looks like an speaker AMP under rear cushion. Can it be replaced with aftermarket unit ?
I would like to get a list of difference between 92 euro 3.8L and 92 US 3.5 M5, but that's too much to ask here. If anyone know just tell me is there any difference in parts in normal service like air/oil filters, fuel filter spark plugs, water pump, thermostat, etc...
