Can you provide some more detail about if these are the correct E34 wheel? Others have already raised the concerns about the E38 wheel. The correct part numbers for the M5 are:

Front: 36 11 2 227 931 (8X18) 20mm offset
Rear: 36 11 2 227 933 (9X18) 22mm offset

There are several safe ways of exchanging money overseas and I have friends in Germany who can do this for me if I provide the information such as pricing (was that USD 1400?), availability, etc.

the US price mark up is absurd. I'm fixing to order a set of M Parallels from my local German dealer next week - including my VAT (Tax) discount, I will pay about 1400 for the set. My suggestion would to get on bmw.de and find a german dealer, call them up, and ask them to send you a set.

I'd be happy to help, but I'm not particularly comfortable entering into a 1000+ dollar 3rd party wheel transaction. If you are flexible, then drop me an email.
