I have not installed the gears, yet. My M5 is getting high in mileage (127K now) and I plan to change the timing chain and gears in a few months. At that time, I will use 3.8 liter gears.

Bob, if you've only had your M5 17 days, hang on to your wallet for a while until the infatuation wears off.

So is the "performance" Dinan Cam Gear just the Stock Euro 3.8 Cam gear? If so there must be some other sources, like the dealer for instance. Also, have you installed and if so what was your impression?
