I think the 18" M parallel spoke 37 looks better because it makes the M5 look smaller and more proportionate than the 17" Throwing Stars do.

In addition, the 18" should handle better on smooth roads. On rough roads, it might take a beating.

Check the Registry at http://registry.bmwe34m5.com for cars with both and then maybe e-mail the owners therein and ask them.

opinions please. Am considering both of these wheel combinations...staggered in either case. Believe costs will be similar..perhaps slightly less for the Throwing Stars due to tire cost.
Which wheel is preferred?..Like the one piece construction of the M-parallels however any discernible difference in ride quality due to the shorter side wall of the 18" M-parallel's?
Best place to purchase?
