Central FL Bimmer Meet - progress update (archive)

Well, the Central Florida 6er meet planned for a weekend in late Feb/early March has grown to over 20 strong (in the past 4 days) with about 15 6 series Bimmer drivers and others ranging from the 2002 to the M5. Hopefully we can double that number... (yikes!)

The while the original plan (and still a possibility) was to simply meet somewhere in central Florida, many have suggested to meet in Central Florida (Orlando Area) and commence in a (psuedo) road rally to the Sebring Raceway (approx 2 hrs) on the weekend of March 2nd/3rd to show our vehicles and watch the classic automobile races. An Amsoil dealer has generously offered a 15% discount on any products sold at the racetrack on that weekend (to the group only).

There will be a poll posted online shortly so that all who are interested in attending may vote as to what we should do as well as where and when we should do it. While this will not be directly sponsored by the BMWCCA, many of the local chapter members will be attending.
