I spent the first 6 months of 2001 looking for a decent M5T here in Germany. Most of the ones I found were purple. I tried really hard to like it, but I just couldnt. I found only 2 cars that I thought were worth buying, and they were both purple. I ultimately snatched up the 540T I have now because it only had 43k kms on it and it was silver with black leather and smoke free.

Actually, I did pass on a 95 that was orinoco green with a cognac brown interior. It was a BMW Individual car. The interior was amazingly rich, but the paint looked like a punk boy civvic from 1990.
