The BMW factory 18" M-Parallels are FORGED, which means they are very stronng and light. I doubt you'll ever have to worry about bending one. The replicas are cast, and therefore weaker and heavier than the factory wheels. If the price difference is only $500-800, I see no reason to go with the repicas. Especially since you'll probably have to replace or refinish them over time from potholes, etc. HTH.
