Read the question first before you go out and lash out on someone... I mentioned the V8 E34's because they are unreliable as you just said, andyes the E34 M5 is one of the best BMW's, it's certainly not low maintenance.. probably only the V12 BMW's require more attention..

Are you a Hyundai owner? The E34 8cylinder cars are troublesome, but the E34 M5 is one of the best, if not the best, car BMW ever built. Fast as heck and ultra reliable.

I have friends with M5s and have 200k on them and run them very hard and they keep on going even stronger.!!
