Unless the car is over 15 years old you need to own it in Hong Kong or Japan for 3 months.Duty and GST is payable at 26%.Oldtimer Classics in Sydney had a 93 mauritius blue M5 recently in good condition though asking around $57000.A maroon M5 in Melbourne has been on sale for a while at $40000 though someone asked on this board whether it had been involved in a major accident.
Hello,I am looking for an 88-90 E34 M5 and I am wondering if they are able to be imported from Japan/Hong Kong/Wherever to Australia cheap enough to warrant considering this option?? It is so hard to find one over here.
Thanks.
