Who out there owns both or either or of these cars and can speak well to the pros and cons of them comparative to one another? If it is you, please spill your beans and opinions here.

I have been looking for commentary on such an analysis and I thought why not pose it to you guys/gals for discussion and exploration.

I'm thinking of buying a E39 M5 but I've own a E34 M5 and liked it alot. So, which one is better? What are the pros and cons of each? and whatever else you want to add.
