wanted 3.43 or 3.91 differential (archive)

I have a stock 290 differential in my '95 540i and wanted to put in something that would lower the ratio. What differentials will fit my '95 540i and which size do you recommend. From the posts it looks like 3.91 but if thats a good size for a m5 is it still appropriate for the 540i gearing (don't know if gearing is the same).

If anyone has one they want to sell please contact me.
