Bleeding Brake with ASC :Automatic Stability Cntrl (archive)

According to the Bentley manual, you are lead to believe that you can not bleed the brakes of a BMW (95 E34 540i) with the ASC traction feature. It states that you need a special BMW service equipment to do the job. Is this true and what special tool are they talking about? Appreciate any light shed on this subject. Thank!
