Thank you for your input. I posted the same message on the e39 board and only received 1 reply. This shows me the M5 owners have more of a relationship with their cars. I take this as there must be something special about an M5 that a regular BMW just dosen't have. At this time I feel I must go out test drive a Black on Black M5, get on the onramp, roll down the windows and put my foot down. I suppose the follow up to this action will be to have my checkbook handy.
