does the 3.8L m5 come with vanos?if it doesn't i think thats the main reason it felt so quick.the m5 has a very wide powerband if i'm rite.how about chipping ur m5 plus fitting dinan cam gears and a cold air intake.should give about 30 extra kilowatts and might be as quick as the e39 M.
