i sat in an m5 3.6L quite sum time ago.the exhaust was stuffed.i live in sa and at reef altitude normal aspirated cars lose +- 18% power compared to sea level.i noticed before 5000 it was quite tamed but after 5000 it really hauled.is this normal with the m5 or was this one chipped or sumthing.does the e28 286hp m5 have the same effect and which m5 is quicker the e28 286hp or 315hp e34?
