I have a '92 535i, completely stock. I was driving along and all of a sudden the "Anti lock" brakes warning light comes on. 5 seconds later the "check engine" warning light comes on. 3 seconds later the "brake fluid" warning light comes on. Then the "check control" warning, and the headlights get really dim and windshield wipers get really slow. I was on the freeway and had to make a quick exit before because it seemed everything was going to shut off. I pulled off the road and turned the engine off. A few minutes later I tried to start it and it acted like a dead battery and wouldn't crank over. 10 minutes later it started fine but within 30 seconds, the whole thing repeated with the warning lights and headlights dimming. I had to get a tow home. Any ideas? Could some electronic computer dealy have gone bad? Thanks, Geoff.
