so you can't theoretically blow the motor

if u worried bout blowing the motor.dont really worry.these motors are quite strong.a guy i know has a 325is 2.7l with 288 cam gasflowed head, chip and exhaust and revs his car easily to about 8500 not sure rev counter ends at 7000 when the motor was unbalanced with no drama except it kept breaking pressure plates but that solved.i have two 325is one which is faster then his but dont rev em so high.so get some mods and start looking for a 8000 rev counter.then again he had a 320 gearbox with 3:91 gears which made it rev easily to 8500 because of the short ratios.anybody know e30 320 gearbox ratios??
