Actually I meant 95 540i automatic. I prefer the e34 to tell you the truth. I do have the sports package but not enough power... :)

The 91 M5 vs 94 540i (I think you mean 95 540i 6-sp rather than 94 540i Auto) has been covered earlier.

The 97 528i is definitely lower on power than both of these cars, but, with the Sports Package, has superior handling and balance.

In addition, it is better put together (technology advances) and may look better to you (does not to me).

You have to drive them and decide for yourself what matters to you.
