Todd,
I'm an M6 guy lurking on this board. I bought the BB and had it on my car for about 3 hours total. Felt a substantial loss of performance vs my oem system. Put the oem back on and the old magic was back. Talked to Frank Fahey, related my experiance. In his opinion, the resonators are the restriction on the BB system. The perforations of the tubes in the resonators are punched from the outside-in, leaving all these little tabs in the exhaust stream, effectively constricting the tube diameter. I don't know if the BB system for the E34 M5 is designed the same. If it is, I wouldn't recomment it. Maybe someone who has the E34 system knows.
