I believe it is 15 psi. kpa or the 200 kpa we're talking about I believe is measured like atmospheres. you start from zero (vacuum). If I remember from my science class correctly We live in a atomosphere of 14.7 psi about 100 kpa. The radiator cap is 15 psi above this or 200 kpa.
We'd have one tough radiator if it could take an actual 29 psi above atomspheric pressure.

This seems really high to me. Cap was replaced under some recall a while back. Doesn't it say 1atm (15psi) like my '84 733i?? Of course, I could go and look, but it's raining...
