It really depends on the bushing. Stock bushings probably go from 50-70 durometerA and poly ones are probably from 60-90 durometerA. That is hardness. There is, obviously, no in-between.

For the semi-trailing arm and sway bar, I would say poly bushings are fine.

For the engine mounts, gearbox mounts, thrust arms, control arms, subframe, etc., I would say stick with stock ... for the street. If you make the bushings too strong, it just transmits the force down to the more expensive components. Also, often you will be surprised how good a stock rubber bushing is to begin with.

What are your opinion on using polyurethane bushing? Is there some thing else in between stock and polyurethane? Thanks
