You'd be better off running a turbo set-up and yes lowering the compression ratio to achieve that power range will then be attainable but very pricey


I have visited the shop in Van Nuys, they were working on a kit for the E39 M5. The guy i spoke to sounds very knowledgable and they appear to be real enthuiasts.

I think that would be a good deal except that i have heard that the S38 intake manifold does cause problems with the throttle butterflies, perhaps a carbon fiber example could be mad to help ofset this dilema. Again I have only heard that the intake manifold is a problem. Can anyone confirm?
