There is a place in San Diego selling them for $6500. Not sure if this is their link or not but give them a call and ask for Sean. I think they are planning a couple of trips to Europe in the upcoming months. You might also try eagleimex in Florida. They had one advertised for ~$5500 last year and they bring a lot of cars in from Europe.

Right now i drive a 95 530i w/ about 90K miles and would like to buy a new engine within a few years. Just wondering how much the 3.8 costs. Any help is appriciated.
