Great choice, but then again my opinion is biased towards the blue E34 M5's. All of the data with my car, including the factory touch up paint says mauritius blau metallic, the same holds true of what I have seen of avus blau. Which is contrary to what others have stated in responses below.
Also included s link to my website as the front page has two avus blue E34 M5's, one Euro and one US, in addition to my US mauritius blue. We seem to have the market share of blue E34 M5's covered as these three cars are located within a few miles of each other.
There was a Lazure blue US car for sale several months ago, it was advertised showing that it was located in Chicago and also New Jersey. I'm sure that it sold quickly as it was the first, and only, Lazure US car that I had heard of. Oddly enough the car has not appeared yet in the hands of a new owner.

How many different shades of blue did the e34 m5 come in? What years were these colors available? Did the Euro versions come in different blues than the US? Are the blue colors metallic? I have seen dark and lighter blue m5s and think I would like to get a blue one. Thanks in advance.
