The rearend tag on my early '92 model year M5 reads "6373 122". I'm assuming this is the higher-gear rearend. Anyone have a pointer to more info on this? Would I notice the difference swapping in a lower-gearing '91 rearend? Is it easy to do? The current gearing strikes me as a little slow out of the box but I'd like to find some figures or tribal wisdom on this.
Also, anyone have a set of throwing star wheel covers for sale?
