Ben, thank you so much for the great picture. I notice that the brace seems to be pinched close to the center of the rod. Is this to provide clearance? Does the brace come in contact with the hood pad or the engine covers?

I am interested in knowing what easily evidenced changes did you notice after installation, both good and bad? Under what conditions are these changes most evident?
