The link was my first try at getting the light to glow. It does, but drains light from the rest of the group if you shunt the wires as I did. The correct way is to remove by etching the connectors on the PCB to the light contact patches on the back of the PCB (side from which the light goes in). Solder jumpers to the face of the PCB (where light lamps can be seen) into the little holes. One jumper goes out to the left side (at the 9:30 position) where you will see a mark that says +. The other goes to the same place at the 2:30 position on the face of the PCB. These are the contacts where the power goes to the 3 large bulbs for the instrument faces. You'll need to also put a jumper from the Oil Pressure bulb socket to the check engine control socket (contact strip shared by the battery warning and the check engine control lights. Also will need to cut the power to the ///M bulb - will need to figure out resistance needed. I just put the bulb in red dye so that when the instrument lights were on the whole symbol would glow warm red.Gary Hesse
Is the M-symbol in the instrument cluster supposed to light up at any time? Mine doesn't, although I put a bulb in there.
Thanks,
Roger
