Yes, the 1995 540i sport site is nice. But the guy has a manual 540i 6 speed... i'd expect there to be a bigger reason for the chips for the Automatic than the stick ? I guess I could always try the Dinan chip for the regular 540i Automatic (is that a 5 speed automatic..?) Any problems expected?) and then take up DINAN on the satisfaction guaranteed warranty?

Perhaps I should try other chip manufacturers (other than DINAN). Any ideas?

I have a 1995 540i Sport E34 Automatic (5 speed) and I'm considering buying the DINAN chips to change the shiftpoints and also the induction tube mod. Anyone with ideas on what impact this has to the drive... whether it makes significant difference to the experience and also where / how to buy / how $much?

The M5 and M540i/540i Sport share almost everything, but the engine/(auto) tranny you might have better luck in the 540 boards. Also Mr. Charlie Kindel (http://www.kindel.com/bmw/)has quite a bit of information on these special cars...

Good luck, Ben
