In Reply to: Where to source Euro M5 brakes? posted by Tony Wu on May 09, 2002 at 05:41:23:

I'm looking to add more braking power to my car and am awed by the Euro M5's massive brakes. How practical is it to run it on a car that's also a daily driver? Where can I find them? How expensive are they? The alternatives are Brembo/Mov'it kits. 345mm seem to be an odd size, so will finding the right pads be problematic? This is actually for an E28, but I think this is the best place to get some answers.

Thanks.

Tony

I bought rotors, calipers and pads for $1750. They now stock the pads and sell them for $59. Do a google search under Pacific BMW, Glendale to get the nubmer. That is quite a bit cheaper than any other big brake kit and they bolt right on.
