Stock HP for a 91 M5?? (archive)

I'm looking at buying this used 91 M5, the owner is claiming to have 340HP with just a Dinan computer and transmission chip, is this possible??, I haven't seen the car in person yet, but if I'm not mistaken, the 91 M5 comes with 240Hp stock?? Correct me if I'm wrong, thanks.
