Hey guys, Have an 89 525i with 212K showing and is in great shape even though I paid $3200 for it back in Oct. The other hot day I stared the car up with the radio on and my passenger let both windows down at the same time while I reached for the sunroof shitch. When I touched the switch all my accesories stopped. Doors, windows, radio, sunroof, remote mirrors, and wipers are all that I know of for sure right now. The first thing I did was check the fuses; all ok. It seemed that most but not all shared the #18 fuse (15A). I even went to a salvage yard and took all the relays from two 730 BMWs and tried them to no avail. Now the strange part is that after it sits overnight they will start working again until I turn off my car after my first trip. I thought it may have been a heat thing at first but it did it this(cold and raining) morning on a 5 min ride to the ATM. With all respect please don't reply and tell me I have a short somewhere beacuse the anxiety is high when I see a reply and very disapointing to find out it is something I already know. I asked this forum because it is extremly knowlegdable on E34s and maybe they have seen this before. I ask that you don't take offense to my candor. Will 1.Does any on have any suggestions on where to look? 2. ????
