i just put a new exhaust on my '92 M5 (OEM) as the baffles were loose on the old one and i was losing lots of power. i am finding that i can't go above 5800rpms or so. at this point it feels as though i am hitting a wall, and the engine will not rev faster. i have a dinan chip and the car used to jump to 7000 rpm in a heartbeat. any thoughts as to what is happening?
