Do the 325i's with M badges on the back, also have M badges inside put on by the factory when they were manufactured?
Look, the car has a ton of M badges on it placed on it at the factory. Sure the dealers wanted to address the marketing snafu of not putting an additional one on the back.
They did this on the vast majority of cars sold, but not all. I'm just looking for consistency.
Dealers put stuff on cars so they can be sold. If they elected to put the M on it was because it would make the car sell easier. Factory specs sounds good to me. If in Germany they put these on the good if not - I know alot of people with 325i's who put M emblems on. The kicker is the car does not run any better. Why have a car be something it is not?

I have a 1995 540i Sport... I read that most of these cars had the rear badge changed to "M540i" by the dealers when they were originally sold.
My car has M badges on the door sills but was not upgraded on the rear and still has the 540i badge. Any ideas on how to get one of these M540i badges?... Just add an M infront of the 540i?, or is there a special part? Part # anyone?
The car will perform much better, without the rear M-badge.Added M-badges should be applied with cheese wiz
