Oops! I learned of this when I called Fields BMW here in Chicago. Incidently, I first called Perillo--the only dealer actually located in the city--and they quoted me 750.00.


The S38 does not have a timing belt. It uses a chain and tensioner system that doesn't need replacement until well past 100K or more.
