i have a couple of questions hopefully someone can shed some light. i have a 91 e34 euro m5 , it came with an aftermarket radio. ever since i got it it made a grounding noise which was real annoying. my mechanic said its an amp issue not a grounding issue. i didnt pay much attention cause i new i was going to take everything out and reinstall all new speakers, amp, subs, new head unit and re-wire everything . so i figured this would solve the problem. it didnt, same noise, any idea what it could be ? i grounded the brown wire to the chasis of the car, im not using any factory wires, so its really clean. also whats the deal with the antenna situation, does it not have a connection for the radio ??????? thanks for any help

justin

ps : i came across a cable in the back of my dash that looks like a 20 pin computer cable, not connected to anything ???????? what the hell is this ???? could it be a car phone connection or alarm ?
