If you use the Sachs OEM clutch you should notice a big difference in the clutch stiffness. The clutch has been updated to the newer 92/93 clutch. For more info check out the FAQ at bmwe34m5.com. I just got a new clutch from Eurasian in california for $330 which seems to be the best price for a OEM clutch. There website is www.eap4parts.com.

good luck,

Can any of the experts on the board tell me what they used to replace the worn out clutch? Have 158k on my daily driver and need a new clutch. I think the Sachs is the OEM, but are there any good aftermarket alternatives? Thanks in advance...
