Alan:

The silver spokes are a cover. You transfer the cover to your spare when you put it on. The cover is held on by 20mm or 30mm M6x1.0 bolts with a triple-square head. The 20mm is for the Throwing Star and the 30mm for the Turbines.

I note the original wheels (17 x 8 on mine)have silver spokes under the covers and the spare black spokes-any diffrence in strength or weight?
