CD Changer--1994 530iT (archive)

I recently bought a 1994 530iT. I want to buy a CD changer, but I haven't a clue. I have a 14 pin connector and I see several TR1003 (BMW Part# 82 11 1 468 014) for sale. But I see that the after market cd for my vehicle is the Pioneer CDXM30. I want to buy the BMW factory model, but is that a mistake? Will the BMW Model TR1003 work on my car? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
