I am not sure on the warning message. But just in case check the power steering fluid. It is the lubricant which goes to the shocks. If it is low I would simply add some oil and see if the warning goes away. Be careful not to lose the nut which holds the screen/strainer in place.

Oh and only use the correct fluid not the dot 4 crap you get from pep boys.
