Only the 92- car do this. Servotronic. It is via a chip. No adjustment that I know of. You could increase steering effort all round by various means - lower tire air pressure, increased camber, etc. - I suppose, but I don't know.

As I understand it,our steering gets more feel and firmer as revs rise. This is noticeable above 4000 revs. Is it possible to make any adjustment so that there is more feel at lower revs-and hence enhance steering enjoyment as traffic dictates that it is not always possible to keep revs high.
