When I lock my M5 with the remote lock or the key, the locks pop back up and I have to lock it a second time. It never works on the first and never takes more than two times. I've had the same issue in other BMW's but just left them. What's going on?

I have a 91 M5 too and the same thing. When I'm very slow and gentle with the key it sometimes weon't do it. I've given up trying to fix and just live with it.
