How much work? Lots of work! :) The most tedious is all of the testing in-game:

1) Make a slight change to car
2) Re-zip the car file
3) Load game
4) Test & take notes
5) Exit game
6) Repeat 100 times

My cars won't work for the Playstation version, but the PC version of NFS: High Stakes has been out for a while now and can be found for $14.99 or less! I recommend a steering wheel/pedal combo though for ultimate realism, and surround sound speakers too!

I'm going to email you some help on how to download/install my cars. The FAQ on my site has a lot of that info too, and each car file comes with it's own README.html with instructions too.
