Need Help painting stock sideskirts and bumpers! (archive)

Has anyone had experience painting the gray sideskirts and bumpers on a 92-98 325 by themself? I don't think it's worth takin to the shop and being charged 300 bucks. I need information on how to paint them myself and how to do it so it lasts forever. If anyone could provide me w/ steps to dismantle the lower body and how I should go about painting the gray sideskirts white to match the rest of the body, it'd be great! Pictures would be nice :-). Please help!!!
