If it is in good mechanical condition then I wouldn't worry about the high miles. Those cars are basically bullerproof. If it was well taken care of then it shouldn't be a problem except wear items. Here is what I can think of:

Manual tranny should be fine but clutch may be close to used up if its never been replaced.

The interior will probably have some creaks but hey, its 7 years old, whatdaya expect?

If the water pump hasn't been replaced with a metal impeller one, do it now! If so then it should be fine.

Check rear shock mounts if they've never been replaced.

That is all i can think of although some people will probably add more. Other than that, take it to someone who knows BMWs specifically (even pay the $tealer if its your only option) and if they okay it then its probably fine. Except items that wear out it will run a long time yet. Plenty of people I've seen have e36s with over 300k miles. I've seen some E30s and at least one E36 with over 1 million miles.
