328ic/318ti Springs? Help! (archive)

I have a '96 318ti and a '98 328ic convertible, and want to lower both of them. I have seen springs advertised from Eibach, Dinan, Racing Dynamics, H&R, AC Schnitzer, among others. Anyone know which of these spings rides the best? I don't want the fillings shaken out of my teeth. Is it imperative to change shocks at the same time? Which rides better Koni or Bilstein? Are camber plates a necessity for alignment? Can you use camber plates on the front and a front cross-brace too? Thanks for your input ~~Jeff
